RAINBOW

The True Name, Rainbow

The Head: This rainbow that comes out, or that comes out when it rains, the Igbo people call it Eke Na Ogwurugwu.

Apostle John: That name is not fitting. Myself is cancelling it. Call it the same name, Rainbow.

Apostle John: Eke na ogwurugwu?

The Head: Yes.

Apostle John: The first question is, what is Eke na ogwurugwu?

The Head: There is no explanation given about it. But if you divide the name, you get eke and ogwurugwu, each different. Eke means python, and ogwurugwu can mean something that is round or curved round itself like a snake.

Apostle John: Son of man, that explanations are totally meaningless. Son of man, everything God created, God the Father gave name to each of them. All of them live and move according to the will of God. Before God creates something, He knows the name to call that thing, and He knows its works. After creating that thing, God gives it the name which follows, confirms, its works. There is nothing that concerns eke na ogwurugwu with rainbow.

The Head: The name of what God has created is also the spirit in that thing and as that thing. Thanks be to God.

Apostle John: Son of man, call it rainbow.

The Head: Yes.

Sources Of Rainbow

Apostle John: Son of man, where does the rainbow come from?

The Head: Humanity understand that there is a rainbow caused by the sun, by the bending of sunlight passing through the clouds. There is another rainbow caused by the rain, by the diversion of sunlight. In the science laboratory, it is possible to make a rainbow by passing light through a glass prism. That is by human understanding. Humanity takes it that it is the water in the air or in the clouds that makes the light to diverge into seven colours of the rainbow.

Besides, we were made to understand that there is another type rainbow, which God Almighty displayed on the sky at the time of Noah. That rainbow is not the rainbow that humanity do see from time to time. That rainbow is different from all the other rainbows, because it has eight colours - seven colours and white colour. It shall appear when the Biafra nation shall be declared.

Apostle John: Son of man, all that yourself has said are true.

Son of man, the first rainbow which God showed Noah, which yourselves hear about, that rainbow is God Almighty. This shows that Yahweh is a covenant-keeping God. The rainbow comes from the throne of God.

The Head: Yes.

Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Revelation 4:2-5

I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. Revelation 10:1

Meanings Of The Rainbow

Apostle John: What does a rainbow show?

The Head: Number 1, a rainbow, in its seven colours shows the perfection of God.

Apostle John: Number 2?

The Head: It shows the seven spirits that stand in the presence of God.

Apostle John: Is it true?

The Head: Yes, it is true.

Apostle John: Number 3?

The Head: It signifies the covenant of God.

Apostle John: Son of man, yourself answered very well.

The Head: Number 4, The rainbow of eight colours, seven colours and white colour, indicates the time of gathering together, the end of the end time, the time of judgment. Just as it appeared at the time of the great flood, which was also the time of judgment and the end of the time of the generations of Noah.

Rainbow Stops Rainfall

Apostle John: What of the rainbow which you see in the sky?

It stops the rain.

The Head: Let God make us to understand how.

Apostle John: Son of man, when the rainbow comes out, it makes the rain not to fall, and if the rain is already falling, the rain will stop.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle John: What does that mean?

The Head: As we read in the holy book, God told Noah that He, the God Almighty, will not use water again to destroy the world. It is fire that God will use. But in this age, present and modern generations, humanity are destroying the earth with water, by pouring refuses and wastes into the gullies and waterways, thereby  blocking the channels and causing flooding; by preventing water from entering the ground, because of interlocking tiles and plastered areas; by polluting the rivers, oceans and seas with wastes, causing the death and disappearance of living things; by generating excess heat which are melting the sand mountains and snow mountains, filling the waterbeds with sands and debris; and by displacing the waters from gullies, rivers, oceans and seas, thereby flooding the cities and villages.

The situation is getting worse and worse because humanity are continuing their abuse and misuse of nature, and especially because humanity refuse to obey God’s command to keep the Sabbath Day holy – one day of rest every week will help lower the world temperature, freeze the melting snow mountains and harden the melting sand mountains among other benefits. Humanity fail to understand this, that they are destroying the earth, to their own deceit and detriment.

That is why there are many floods, heavy floods which are sinking houses and removing lands, causing gigantic landslides, killing people and disorganizing developments and businesses. Humanity cause all these problems by their various uncontrolled activities, and especially because they fail to inquire from God Almighty.

Rainbow Is God’s Love

Apostle John: Son of man, the rainbow shows love, the love of God the Father, the FirstSon and the Holy Spirit.

The Head: Thanks be to God.

Apostle John: If there is rainfall and the rainbow appears, it shows love.

The Head: As you said, it shows that the rain is God’s love and blessings.

Apostle John: Yes.

The Head: Sometimes, the congregation are asked to come out under the rain, for the rain to fall upon them.

Apostle John: Yes. Son of man, sometimes, this rainbow which people see is the FirstSon, Jesus Christ. The rainbow which you see drawn on the sky and people do see it, it prevents rain.

The rainbow means Jesus Christ, the Lord and Saviour. It is not all rains that mean blessings, favours, success and prosperity. Some rains are the anger and wrath of God. Sometimes, when such rains takes place, the FirstSon, Jesus Christ, will appear in the form of rainbow in the sky to appease God Almighty and save humanity.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle John: Why does it prevent rain?

The Head: Even so Jesus Christ prevents disasters, calamities and strange incidents which come upon humanity, which misfortunes are caused by humanity.

Apostle John: Even so it is. Many of the rains that fall are the canes of the Angels. Sometimes, it comes as rainfall. Sometimes, it comes as rainfall, but all the people with spiritual eyes shall know that it is the Angels flogging all over the world with canes and various diseases.

The Head: Yes. Thanks be to God for the explanations.

Apostle John: The rainbow show that Jesus Christ has prevented the misfortunes.

The Head: Yes.

Apostle John: Jesus Christ does so because of those who are beloved by God.

The Head: Thanks be to God.

Apostle John: It is not only preventing rainfall,
