Psalm 154
The Rider On The White Horse
Revelation 19:11-16

1 Then I saw heaven opened,

and behold, a white horse!

2 He who sat upon it is called

Faithful and True,

3 and in righteousness he judges

and makes war.

4 His eyes are like a flame of fire,

and on his head are many diadems;

and he has a name inscribed

which no one knows but himself.

5 He is clad in a robe dipped in blood,

and the name by which he is called

is The Word of God.

6 And the armies of heaven,

arrayed in fine linen, white and pure,

followed him on white horses.

7 From his mouth issues a sharp sword

with which to smite the nations,

and he will rule them with a rod of iron;

8 he will tread the wine press of the fury

of the wrath of God the Almighty.

9 On his robe and on his thigh

he has a name inscribed,

King of kings and Lord of lords.

Psalm 155

Isaiah 9:6-7

1 The people that walked in darkness

have seen a great light:

2 they that dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,

upon them has the light shined.

3 Thou hast multiplied the nation,

thou hast increased their joy:

4 they joy before thee according

to the joy in harvest,

as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

5 For the yoke of his burden,

and the staff of his shoulder,

the rod of his oppressor,

thou hast broken as in the day of Midian.

6 For all the armour of the armed man in the tumult,

and the garments rolled in blood,

shall be for burning,

for fuel of fire.

7 For unto us a child is born,

unto us a son is given;

and the government shall be upon His shoulder:

8 and His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor,

Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

and Prince of Peace.

9 Of the increase of His government and of peace

there shall be no end,

upon the throne of David,

10 and upon his kingdom, to establish it,

and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness

from henceforth even for ever.

11 The zeal of Yahweh the Lord of the Hosts

will accomplish this.
